Project Description:
TRAX Red Line and Blue Line construction and bus bridge; replacing grade crossing components on 3900 South between Murray Central and Millcreek stations

Start Date: Saturday, June 15, 2024
End Date: Tuesday, June 18, 2024



Details:
UTA will perform maintenance and repairs on TRAX Red and Blue lines at the rail crossing on 3900 South starting as early as June 15. A bus bridge will be in place between Murray Central and Millcreek stations from June 15 to 18. Expect 15 to 30 minute delays. Begin your trip at either station to avoid delays.

• Riders: Bus bridge from Murray Central to Millcreek station; 15 to 30-minute delays.
• Alternative Routes: Begin your trip at either station to avoid delays.
• Residents: 24/7 construction noise from heavy equipment and vehicles; nighttime construction noise and lighting; noise, dust, vibrations.

Project Purpose & Benefit:
Maintaining the Red and Blue lines at the rail crossing on 3900 South allows us to continue reliable operations in the Murray and Millcreek area. Regular maintenance will minimize future construction impacts and improve service quality.

Project Schedule:
Start of construction and bus bridge: Saturday, June 15
End of construction: Tuesday, June 18
Regular service resumes: Wednesday, June 19
